New Bergen Players (2019 – )

In January 2019 I began working with 10 women aged 65+ in Bergen, Norway. The aim of the collaboration is to make a series of performances and playful interventions in and around the city. Our first performance together was at KODE 2 in February 2019. The women enacted a series of pointless and humorous choreographic gestures called Exercises in Hopelessness, while I talked about my practice.

We are currently working on a new piece that we hope to share in October 2020.

The current New Bergen Players are Bente Aabrek, Solfrid Furre, Grete Fosse, Eva Jensen, Ellen Olsen Lund, Gerd Rasmussen, Nina Sandtorv and Karin Waltzing.
